We are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of A Level Economics, situated within the Economics and Business Studies Department, at this outstanding sixth form college. The post is open to new entrants to the profession as well as experienced teachers. A trainee would also be considered, commencing June 2025, with a requirement to undertake a locally based 2-year part time PGCE course from September 2025 alongside ‘on the job’ training
What does the job entail?
* To be able to produce an engaging lesson for the students integrating both practical and theory-based learning.
* To create an adaptive learning environment that allows and encourages different approaches to learning.
* Carefully assess student work to ensure that individual progress is maintained through personalised feedback and precise teaching support.
What is required from you?
* Relevant UK experience within a classroom.
* Enhanced DBS.
* 2 Valid references covering previous employment.
