This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office. The Associate is a member of Sales Enablement within HarbourVest’s Client Experience team. The primary function is to lead the Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and other related prospective investor requests including, but not limited to, consultant updates and follow-up questionnaires. The ideal candidate is someone who is: Highly analytical with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Strong institutional and investment background, alternative investment background a plus Excellent interpersonal and project management skills Proven track record to lead multiple projects, strong attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to build simple, unified, and persuasive output Capable of working independently as well as team oriented What you will do: Work with functional teams to coordinate formal inquires from prospective investors Serves as project lead and facilitates kick-off meetings, communicates key tasks, using approved content, and coordinates with key team members to complete the prospective investor requests. Responsible for RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests and other client related requests Coordinates with Marketing Compliance to ensure responses follow SEC marketing guidelines Provides Sales Enablement support for Investor Relations for the Firm's global offices Collaborates with internal functional teams (including but not limited to investments, operations, legal/compliance, etc.) as appropriate to respond to various investor inquires And other responsibilities as required What you bring : Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and RFP software is a plus Institutional investment management and/or private equity experience is a plus Education Preferred: Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience Experience: 3-5 Years experience in investment management/private equity/marketing/RFP capacity preferred (Associate level)
