We are looking for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to work within the Education and Training sector!
This Aspiring Educational Psychologist position is based in Bedford.
Start date: Role to start in September, for the duration of the 2024/2025 academic year. Use this experience to qualify and disqualify the SEN and Mental Health sectors.
Ideal for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist in the Bedford area with a Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduate before committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project.
As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, this role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors, and Mental Health specialists at work.
This role is all about giving children a sense of purpose. Can you make children’s lives just that little bit better?
1. Intermediate learning levels, a tailored curriculum for each student.
2. Focus on learning needs and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills.
3. 55 students, classes of 6-8 ranging in ability.
4. £460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4:30.
What is required for this role in the education and training sector?
* An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates.
* An interest in mental health and Autism.
* Knowledge, keen interest, or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision).
* Local commute to Bedford.
