We now have an opportunity for a DMC Technician to join our new Client Team, where you will provide a fully technical service relating to damp, mould and condensation. You will be first point of response to all DMC enquiries, dealing with and taking ownership of initial actions, escalating enquiries appropriately, collate, track, and report performance of DMC services. We’re looking for an experienced technical-skilled person who understands building pathology related to dampness within a dwelling. You will have an understanding of Housing legislation including HHSRS and the impending Awaab’s Law, and you will be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of developing strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. Resilient, assertive and consistent, you must be driven to deliver quality services. You will be responsible for: Be the main point of contact for all customer queries relating to DMC and take ownership for dealing with these, work collaboratively with colleagues across the Group to ensure they are resolved effectively. Dealing with enquiries and complaints from a range of people, councillors and agencies, effectively and sympathetically both verbally and in writing. Leading on investigating and resolving complaints and providing general advice and guidance relating to damp, mould and condensation. Our ideal candidate will: Experience of working within a DMC background (desirable). The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and the knowledge and confidence to challenge where necessary. Proactive, focussed, able to adapt to changing events and deliver tasks on time. Due to the nature of the role a valid Full UK Driving Licence is required.
