We are looking for a full time Drainage CCTV Engineer (Rig Manager) to join our growing team of service engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial client sites across the North West, the Midlands & North Wales. The ideal candidate will have previous drainage experience and will be familiar with surveying drainage networks, have the Pipe Sewer Condition Classification to MSCC5 (OS19X) qualification, be familiar with word, excel and PDF editing, have GPS data logging knowledge (not essential), be able to carry out Manhole Surveys (where requested), carry out high-pressure water jetting tasks (where required). Ideally you will hold the relevant competencies, but where training gaps are evident or where refresher courses are needed, full support and training will be provided. This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence. This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance. Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our client requires "out of hours" work in the form of an on call rota so occasional early starts/late finishes and weekend working are to be expected. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Minimum 2 years as a Drainage CCTV engineer (rig manager) Have the Pipe Sewer Condition Classification to MSCC5 (OS19X) qualification Minimum 2 years’ drainage experience Working knowledge of drainage systems Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems Confident problem solver Excellent communication skills Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations Be familiar with word, excel and PDF editing Desirable (Training provided) Manual handling First Aid Confined Space entry certified Asbestos Awareness Certified CSCS Card GPS data logging Carry out Manhole Surveys Brick Sewer Condition Classification to MSCC5 (OS21X) Responsibilities include: Working on commercial and industrial sites leading a small team carrying out drain surveys, creating detailed drainage plans, GPS data logging, carrying out Manhole Surveys, problem solving. Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired time frame Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representative and customers of our clients Assisting office-based staff by providing accurate and good quality information for any further works quotations.
