Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 66 year old lady living in the Tonyrefail area. I have a diagnosed learning disability and some mobility problems but I get about ok with the aid of a walking frame. I really enjoying puzzles and colouring books. I am a massive fan of television soaps including Emmerdale and Coronation Street. I also like to watch game shows like tipping point. When I go out with my PAs I like to go to Tesco to do a bit of shopping and have a bite to eat in the Café.
When I go out I require a wheelchair to go longer distances, this can be easily stored in the boot of your car.
I am capable of doing most things but I do need some support with domestic tasks including some personal care, preparing of meals and making sure I have my medication.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To help and support me with light cleaning around the house and maybe helping with the laundry.

5 hours on a Saturday
RATES OF PAY
£12.30 Per Hour + Mileage allowance
TASKS CAN INCLUDE

ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
