Job description Diesel Workshop Engineer (Generators) WB Power Services is currently recruiting for a Diesel Workshop Engineer to join our team at our Head Office in Heanor, Derbyshire. The Role: Service, repair, and maintain diesel generators and components Strip down and rebuild diesel engines and generator parts Diagnose and rectify faults Provide support to colleagues on the road when required (company vehicle provided) Troubleshoot generator issues Follow company Health & Safety, environmental, and quality management systems Keep accurate records using our bespoke management system Work closely with internal teams to ensure jobs are on time and within budget The Person: Experience with diesel generators or HGV servicing Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 5 years' relevant experience with generators from 20kVA upwards Workshop engineering experience is desirable Familiarity with electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators Ability to understand and complete risk assessments Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines A valid UK driving licence is advantageous What We Offer: £32,000 - £41,000 (DOE) Overtime after 40 hours 33 days holiday, including bank holidays Training and upskilling opportunities Private healthcare Death in Service benefit Long-term career progression Excellent employee assistance program To learn more about this position, or to learn more about WB Power Services, contact Jack Connelly-Haywood.
