PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manage the implementation of all engineering projects (process, mechanical, electrical, and civil) in the refinery complex, within budget, time, and quality constraints. This role is integral in the successful execution of the Capex Plan for the Refinery, Fabrication and Service Yard.
Summary Of Key Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:
1. Implement all projects according to RR Stage Gate Governance Procedure.
2. Verify availability of resources to prevent shortages that would result in delay of any project execution.
3. Ensure that resources are being used within the financial constraints set for the project, helping to prevent cost overruns and maintain financial control.
4. Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications. Understand the scope, objectives, and constraints of the project.
5. Determine the resources needed, including manpower, equipment, and materials. Develop a schedule for the project phases.
6. Adjust plans and schedules as necessary to accommodate unforeseen challenges or changes in project scope.
7. Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets project standards. Implement corrective actions if deviations from the standards are found.
8. Conduct a review of the project to identify lessons learned, assess team performance, and evaluate overall success.
9. Keep accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any incidents. Document any changes or issues and their resolutions.
10. Conduct a final inspection to ensure that all work is completed to the required standards and specifications.
11. Facilitate the handover of the completed project to the client or project owner, including any necessary documentation and warranties.
