If youre passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with complex communication needs, wed love to hear from you About the Role: This is a rewarding and dynamic role where youll work with children and young adults aged 6 to 30 years who have a range of needs, including: Moderate to severe learning disabilities (MLD/SLD) Autism spectrum disorders ADHD and associated difficulties Complex medical needs and sensory/physical impairments Youll be part of an interdisciplinary team, providing specialist communication and dysphagia support. Your role will include assessments, therapy planning, direct and indirect interventions, and working closely with families, caregivers, and education staff to create a Total Communication environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess and manage a caseload of students with communication and dysphagia needs Create and deliver individual therapy plans based on EHCPs and multidisciplinary team assessments Provide direct and indirect interventions in 1:1, small group, or classroom settings Support assistive technology, feeding, and swallowing needs Train and collaborate with families, caregivers, and staff to ensure consistent communication support Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to reviews and reports Supervise and line manage Speech and Language Therapy Assistants This role is varied and hands on, youll be making a real impact every day and will come home after a days work feeling extremely rewarded Why Join Our Client?
