Job Advert: Full-Time Teacher (3 Days Y2 Class & 2 Days PPA Cover) – Doncaster Position: Full-Time Primary Teacher (3 days teaching in Y2, 2 days PPA cover) Location: Doncaster Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time (5 days a week) Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role: We are working on behalf of a vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Doncaster who are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and passionate teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. The role will involve teaching a Year 2 class for 3 days a week, with the remaining 2 days spent covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning while contributing to a positive and collaborative school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 2 class, ensuring that learning is both fun and challenging for all students. Plan and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of the class. Provide high-quality cover for various year groups on PPA days, ensuring continuity in learning. Collaborate with other staff to ensure effective teaching and learning across the school. Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes a love of learning. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2. A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate young learners. Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and proactive approach. Ability to work flexibly across different year groups and cover PPA effectively.
