What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills to be the first point of contact for all visitors, telephone calls and emails to the school. Working under the direction of the Bursar the post holder will be enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking with a welcoming, caring and friendly manner.
In addition, the successful candidate will have:
• A good standard of general education evidenced by three or more GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above, including English and maths.
• At least one years’ experience working in a busy office environment.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proven experience of using online platforms and social media outlets as communication tools.
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet the challenges of the school day.
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
