A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen within our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and confident individual who has excellent clinical and communication skills to join our team as a Clinical Governance Assistant Facilitator for the Acute Services Division in NHS Highland. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Band 6 Clinical Governance Assistant Facilitator you will encourage, facilitate and support patient safety and clinical governance activities throughout the Acute Services Division in NHS Highland. You will, in collaboration with clinicians and multidisciplinary groups, help to facilitate the delivery of high quality and clinically effective services by encouraging continuous improvement in line with the Clinical Governance Strategy and patient safety priorities.
You will work closely with the different directorates and Rural General Hospitals and collaborate with teams to review and monitor clinical practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate measures. This role will provide you with the opportunity to deliver education and training to healthcare professionals on clinical governance principles and best practices. You will participate in reviews of incident reporting and investigations, contributing to the analysis and implementation of improvement.

The position is for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract.
Although not essential, a nursing qualification would be desirable.
