Responsibilities:
* Work with CEO and administrator to support day-to-day operations.
* Develop policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the service runs effectively.
* Supervise and support a team of counsellors, ensuring high standards of practice.
* Manage a caseload, focusing on complex cases.
Training & Development:
* Design and deliver in-house training for staff.
* Develop external training programs to be delivered outside the organisation.
Safeguarding & Crisis Management:
* Be available on call for safeguarding issues as required.
* Ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed within the counselling service.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Contribute to blog writing and other content creation related to the service.
* Assist with other relevant tasks as required within the role.
Person Specification:
* Qualification in counselling preferably BACP accredited.
* Experience supervising counsellors.
* Experience working with complex cases.
* Strong training and development skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
* Ability to develop and manage a counselling service.
* Strong written communication skills for blog writing and content creation.
* Safeguarding qualification or experience.
