They are looking for someone to inspect Cavity Wall and Solid Wall insulations, as well as assessing the new technicians and their work and supporting their network of installation companies. The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail, ensuring that all work carried out is to the highest possible standard.
The company is based in Wokingham, however this role is remote and field based throughout the South East of England. The candidate must have a clean driving license and be willing to travel to locations in the South East of England. There will occasionally be some overnight stays. A company car is included.

What will I be doing in the Cavity Wall Technical Inspector role?
* Conduct thorough inspections of Cavity Wall and Solid Wall Insulation installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
* Assess and evaluate new technicians to ensure they meet the required competencies and standards.
* Provide ongoing support and training to the network of approved installing companies.
* Monitor and motivate the network of installers and provide technical support, ensuring they maintain high-quality standards and productivity.
* Produce detailed inspection reports and feedback for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
* Completing inspections and audits and conducting thorough inspections of Cavity Wall and Solid Wall Insulation.
* Auditing all Cavity Wall & External Wall works and signing off on completed projects.
* Train new installers from newly onboarded companies and approve installers by assessing their competencies and standards.
* Check the quality of materials and equipment, reporting any substandard performance.
* Visit and resolve customer complaints, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
* Service material complaints and manage CIGA inspections, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions.
* Maintain close relationships with various departments, clients, and stakeholders to address any issues and enhance project outcomes.
* Support research and development works when required, contributing to the development of new techniques and solutions.
What skills and experience do I need for the Cavity Wall Technical Inspector role?
* NVQ Level 5 qualification in CSCS is essential.
* Familiarity with PAS2030/35 standards is required to ensure compliance and quality control.
* The ability to build fantastic relationships with customers.
* 5 years of experience as a BBA/KIWA Approved Cavity Wall Insulation Technician.
* Time management and punctuality, visiting all complaints in 24 hours.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail to ensure precise and thorough inspections.
* Proficient in using IT systems to produce comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
* A clean driving licence is mandatory.
