We are looking for a professional, ambitious & confident Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Cygnet Delfryn Lodge is our high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for women who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. Women placed with us often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.

Your Day-to-Day
1. Lead an allocated team of nurses & support workers to ensure care and associated duties are allocated effectively and within team members' competence.
2. Supervise junior staff in all aspects of their work and by example, teach and guide them.
3. Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit and improve quality.
4. Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing.
5. Conduct appraisals, audits, interviews & disciplinaries.
6. Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
7. Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient programmes of care.
You are
1. Open, compassionate, honest & resilient.
2. Experienced RMN with a current Pin number.
3. Capable of promoting & ensuring the good reputation of and acting as a role model demonstrating a positive attitude towards patients, their families, visitors and others.
4. Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices.
5. Able to deputise in a clinical lead role.
6. Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.
7. Helping to empower & support all staff and promote service user independence.
