In order to help us achieve our growth aspirations we have identified the need to recruit a Data Officer to assist our Stock Condition Service Area. The role sits within our Surveying Services team, with the principle focus of expanding our service offering and client base across the division. In conjunction with the Head of Surveying Services, Operations Manager SCS and our Planning, Scheduling and Dispatch (PS&D) Team, the Data Officer will be involved with ensuring that all client works are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and to the highest level of quality. On a monthly basis, the data officer will collate data sets of surveys completed and produce data transfer documents for upload into client system. Using excel knowledge and skills to produce these files but also validate the data sets prior to submission to the client. There is scope to further develop the role so that the individual may be trained to undertake surveying works and be able to visit surveyors on site to validate their work., The jobholder is accountable for managing various data profiles across our survey services projects, the role will work principally with our Project Manager to:
* Collate, format and deliver data for project updates
* Monitor and audit data collection to optimise efficiency and data quality
* Analyse data for client reports across various service areas
* Maintain management of survey photos for each project, utilising client's uploading
process and systems
* Liaise closely with internal teams and project leads to maintain information
* Identify and develop improvement opportunities for current internal processes
* Work collaboratively with our Project Manager and Surveyors to ensure an
integrated approach, which delivers key business objectives and targets
* Providing general administrative assistance as require
We are looking for someone that:
* Has excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Word
* Can demonstrate innovative use of IT to problem-solve or drive improvement
* Understands and operates within IT best practice
* Is analytically minded and quality focused
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills
* Is energetic towards team working, collaboration and company growth
* Shows good judgment, initiative, commitment and resourcefulness
* Has previous experience in the social housing sector, although this is not essential if you can demonstrate the strengths above
