Are you a dynamic and experienced technical engineer with a passion for enterprise mobility? Do you have a strong background in mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Here at Serco, we are seeking a skilled Product Support Technical Engineer to enhance our enterprise mobility strategy. You will primarily focus on migrating from VMware AirWatch (Workspace ONE) to Microsoft Intune, while also providing technical expertise in mobile and tablet device management across the organisation. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies, all while supporting cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic IT environment.
As part of this you’ll:
* Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for MDM and MAM.
* Migrate from VMware AirWatch to Microsoft Intune, ensuring smooth deployment and security compliance.
* Manage Samsung Knox for enterprise mobility management and device provisioning.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mobile OS issues (iOS, Android).
* Develop automation scripts for device provisioning and compliance enforcement.
* Define and enforce security policies, including conditional access and Zero Trust.
* Collaborate with security teams to enhance device protection and data loss prevention.
* Train IT teams and end-users on best practices for mobile device security.
* Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for support teams.
What you’ll need to do the role:
* Proven experience in enterprise MDM/MAM, specifically with Microsoft Intune and Samsung Knox.
* Hands-on expertise in Android Enterprise, iOS/iPadOS management, and Apple Business Manager.
* Experience with mobile application packaging, deployment, and device security policies.
* Scripting skills in PowerShell, JSON, or equivalent for automation tasks.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Enterprise Administrator (MS-102), Samsung Knox Professional, VMware Workspace ONE (desirable).
* ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Mobility+/Security+ (beneficial).
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (desirable).
* 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a related role.
