Are you a natural leader with a passion for organization and efficiency? Do you thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment? We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Administration Team Lead (ATL) to ensure the seamless daily operations of our practice.
Your Role as ATL
As ATL, you’ll be instrumental in keeping the practice running smoothly, balancing operational efficiency with exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Clinical Room Booking: Ensuring clinical rooms are ready and assigned to the right clinicians.
* Staff Rota Management: Organizing admin staff schedules, addressing gaps, and escalating issues when necessary.
* Team Leadership: Guiding our non-clinical team, including Patient Navigators, Secretaries, Administrators, and Chronic Disease Administrators.
* HR Responsibilities: Overseeing return-to-work processes, providing induction training, and supporting onboarding activities.
* Administrative Excellence: Handling a range of surgery administrative tasks while collaborating closely with Business and Operational Managers and support functions like HR and Resourcing.
What We’re Looking For
* Extensive Experience in General Practice: A strong background in the operations and dynamics of general practice is essential.
* Deep Understanding of General Practice: Awareness of how general practice operates and how external factors can impact the service.
* Administrative Expertise: Proven ability to handle senior administrative responsibilities, including workforce-related tasks.
* Leadership Skills: Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role, with a focus on guiding and motivating a team.

About the Practice:
Located in the Seafield area in the west of Aberdeen, Great Western Medical Practice serves a diverse population of 10,000 patients from a state-of-the-art, ground-floor health centre.
Our practice is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who work together to meet the extensive needs of our patients. We provide a variety of appointment optionsincluding telephone, face-to-face, and video consultationsavailable Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
We are conveniently situated close to local amenities such as pharmacies, shops, and public transport links. Ample car parking is also available for both patients and staff.
