This role is open to those who are trying to kick start their career in Supply Chain, including those with early professional experience, or a degree in a relevant area. The primary objective will be to deliver best practice, by offering structure, process and accountability to the Logistics Management Team by delivering strategic improvement plans, standardising operations, and consistently review processes and performance with progressive or corrective actions.
The role offers both project conception and delivery. The Logistics Transformation Co-Ordinator is the key enabler to all Logistics project and efficiency plans. Sharing best practices across the Supply Chain and creating continuity through replication is an essential part of the role to create productivity, cost and safety gains.
The role will also provide critical support to stakeholders in tasks such as upskilling, producing documentation, recertifications and audit management.
What will you do on a normal day?
* Provide critical support and expertise across the Logistics function, taking accountability by leading and executing projects before replicating them across the Supply Chain to prevent or tackle any business challenges.
* Analyse and present key data analysis to create strategic direction, including SWOT analysis, productivity, cost and key performance metrics across all functions.
* Identify areas for delivery of improvement incentives, support the production of business cases and presentations to key stakeholders for sign off and reward.
* Continuously review advancements, expectations and innovations which may provide functional benefit to the business or champion the experience of our Customers.
* Refine and standardise processes wherever possible, produce and maintain documentation including SOPs & SSOW’s and champion lean operations.
* Promote and deliver cross-functional collaboration and colleague upskilling.
* Provide key support to audits and essential revalidations.
What are we looking for?
* Either two years of professional experience or a relevant degree in the Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Development area.
* A highly organised and driven individual with either experience working in, or studying Supply Chain and is passionate about exploring and development.
* Someone who relishes delivering change, through owning project objectives and transformational activities.
* Ability to interpret and translate complex data and present findings in a simplified way to support decision making.
* Knowledge and background of essential documentation such as SOPs and SSOWs.
* Ability to communicate cross-functionally and create successful working relationships.
* Relentless drive for continued operational improvement.
* Ability to work in isolation and as part of a team.
* Logical approach to problem solving including a desire to design sustainable solutions.
