We are solutions-oriented and leverage deep domain expertise to make an impact across all core operations functions. This role is aligned to the Data Operations function—knowledge and expertise of reference data processes, systems, and solutions are required.
What You’ll Do
The DRO Project Manager is accountable for project management of strategic initiatives across Data and Regulatory Operations. The role holder will:
* Be responsible for the day-to-day management of execution against milestones and budget on one or more projects. Create and maintain a full end-to-end operations project, ensuring sign-off of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
* Engage stakeholders across product and functional domains to drive transformative changes.
* Apply knowledge of data concepts and procedures to resolve issues and complete required analysis.
* Work with the Project Sponsor to ensure the business case/cost-benefit analysis aligns with business goals and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
* Review use cases and drive implementation of strategic technology solutions.
* Develop strategic solutions and process optimization in partnership with functions.
* Assess and escalate risk appropriately when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Drive compliance with company policies, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency. Supervise the activity of others and create accountability for maintaining these standards.
What We’ll Need from You
* Extensive experience in project management roles, specifically within the Data domain.
* Proven track record in managing project scope, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and control, ensuring compliance with project management governance.
* Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and compliance, including senior levels.
* Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change. Experience in evaluating process performance across key metrics and reengineering processes to create significant improvements across all key variables.
* Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to resolve issues that impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area while having basic knowledge of other areas.
* Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
* Ideally 10 years’ experience.
