Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and delivery of the implementation Plan for the Data Governance Framework across the organisation.
2. Develop and build reports and dashboards to present to the Data Management Committee to monitor delivery against the Plan.
3. Ensure that the organisation’s data is managed effectively and in compliance with relevant regulations (working with the Data Protection Officer) and policies.
4. Establish and document the Company’s critical data assets by leading and supporting on the maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, an information glossary and data lineage documentation.
5. Responsible for developing and implementing data governance and records management frameworks, policies and procedures. This includes defining data standards, establishing data quality controls and leading on resolution of data issues and discrepancies, supporting implementation and monitoring of records management and deletion, and overseeing data classification in support of access management.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, guide, educate and coach data governance awareness including ownership and stewardship responsibilities, driving adoption through the organisation.
Skills we'd love you to have:
1. Solid understanding of Data Governance concepts.
2. Analytical skills with a passion for Data Quality.
3. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to gain buy-in.
4. Familiar with data privacy regulations such as GDPR.
5. Ability to stay up to date with data privacy requirements.
