Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, develop, and manage an HR team delivering services across academic and non-academic areas.
2. Advise senior leadership on all HR matters, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, and reward strategies.
3. Implement a modern, solution-focused HR strategy that supports organisational goals.
4. Oversee complex ER casework, employment policy development, and legal compliance.
5. Champion initiatives promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
6. Act as a key advisor and secretary to the institution's HR Committee.
About You
1. Proven strategic HR leadership experience, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
2. Exceptional knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
3. Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
4. Strong data-driven decision-making abilities and HR project management skills.
5. Degree-educated, with Chartered or Fellow CIPD membership.
6. Experience in higher education is advantageous.
