Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are supporting their manufacturing client in the recruitment of a Site Engineering Manager to join their Livingston site. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a significant impact by driving operational efficiency, managing capital projects, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
As the Site Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the operations team, ensuring seamless production processes and achieving site KPIs. You will lead and develop an engineering team, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with business objectives. Your role will include overseeing daily engineering support, managing HR tasks, and identifying skills gaps for continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for a team of 4 Engineering Managers directly reporting into you.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the engineering team to enhance plant reliability and support high-volume production.
* Embed continuous improvement strategies as part of the site’s long-term goals.
* Develop, motivate, and coach the team while identifying opportunities for training and development.
* Manage capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
* Work closely with production teams to meet daily operational targets.
* Oversee planned maintenance and ensure data accuracy in the CMMS system.
Qualifications & Experience:
* HND or higher qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
* Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt level or above).
* Experience leading an engineering management team ideally within an FMCG environment but other industries will be considered.
* Proven project management skills and experience with continuous improvement tools like TPM.
* Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities with a strategic mindset.
