Are you passionate about supporting children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) including autism, disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges?
If so, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a team at a local specialist school. The school caters for children aged 4-18 (key stage preferences will be considered), who have a diverse range of learning needs, including autism, physical disabilities, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviours.
In this role, you could be providing essential support to children across both primary and secondary sites, ensuring they are able to access their learning and fully engage with the curriculum. You will be supporting students with complex emotional, behavioural, and academic needs, and your role will include working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive, nurturing, and structured environment for all students.
