As a Business Analyst, you will support the Project Management Office (PMO) to deliver the development and continuous evolution of the PMO as a value-adding business function, providing services that enable CitySprint to achieve the right business results from project investments to support the company’s strategic growth plans. You will work within the PMO team and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels. You will take responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change. With a significant focus on strategically aligned IT-enabled business change, client integration & IT system improvement projects that support existing business and business growth. Skills needed for a Business Analyst role: In depth cross functional knowledge to understand business objectives and requirements and recommended solutions that are aligned to them. In depth knowledge of techniques and tools to assist with investigating, analysing, modelling and documenting business areas, systems of interest and structure, relationships and use of information and processing of data within the business. Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously from small short-term projects to large multi stream programmes with significant interdependencies. Proven experience with principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the testing process and execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development or integration projects. Business analysis certification/qualifications, preferably at practitioner level (e.g., ISEB/BCS Diploma, IIBA CBAP). Working within multi-disciplinary business and technical teams to deliver business focussed IT solutions. Relevant experience as a Business Analyst ideally with domain or subject matter knowledge gained in a courier, logistics or software development/systems integration company Familiar with principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of the testing process and execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development or integration projects.
