Procurement Manger required for my client who manage a group of diverse high end and leading brands within the in the catering and hospitality sectors.
In this role as Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the management and ownership of a range of food categories such as fresh produce and bakery products. Working closely with the Head of Food Procurement you will define category strategies in-line with overall business objectives to add value, mitigate risk, drive cost savings, and deliver Second Nature (ESG) targets.
Key responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:
1. Define and execute category strategies and project pipeline in line with wider organisational strategy and operating company requirements, working with cross functional and operating business teams to successfully deliver these.
2. Category management ensuring tier 1 & 2 suppliers are meeting business requirements set out in the Supplier Code of conduct. Onboarding new suppliers where required.
3. Regular review meetings and joint business plans (JBPs) with core suppliers.
4. Managing cost base effectively through price reviews and benchmarking processes and where needed, running end to end tender processes.
