It is subject to government spending reviews Description The People Policy and Procedure Lead will work as part of the wider People and Culture team and will report directly into the Head of People (G6). The role will develop and maintain people policies and procedures which provide general and practical advice and guidance for managers and staff on a range of employment and people management issues. They will ensure that the policies and procedures support the SFO's strategy, enhance the employer brand and foster a culture of trust, fairness and inclusion whilst ensuring they comply with new and existing legislation and case law. As a People Policy and Procedure Lead you will be responsible for: Leading the development and maintenance of people policies and procedures which provide general and practical advice and guidance for managers and staff on a range of employment issues. Working with the Head of People and Head of Culture to ensure that the SFO's people policy framework reflects the needs of the organisation. Leading the scheduled review of people policies and procedures to ensure they remain fit for purpose and reflect the latest developments in effective people management. Ensuring that people polices, and procedures are clear, well researched and are developed from the perspective of managers and staff. Working with the Head of People, People Operations Manager and People Business Partners to lead consultation with trade union representatives on people polices and procedures. Leading on the launch and implementation of new and amended people policies to ensure there is a common understanding amongst managers and staff.
