Residential Children Support Worker - Experience required!
Contract: 37.5 per week with opportunities for overtime
Pay rate : Up to £16 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). Once permanent member of staff, your salary is revised annually and can increase to as high as £29,777

We're recruiting experienced children's support workers to support a local organisation who are opening more children's homes over the next 12 months!
Your role will aid in delivering support to children and young people through meeting their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs within their residential homes and out in the community. These individuals will be provided with a personal plan that will enable you to support the young people to have positive experiences while still integrating their boundaries and routine.
You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for young people. Your responsibilities will include supporting their education, ensuring their well-being, and assisting with daily household tasks including cleaning, meal preparation, appointments, and meetings. This position requires enthusiasm, emotional literacy, and a strong commitment to the development and care of children.
You must be prepared to handle physically, actively, and emotionally challenging situations in addition to demonstrating resilience and the ability to meet the demands of the role.
To be considered for this role:
1. MUST have experience working with children in an education or residential setting and working with challenging behaviours
2. MUST be a confident driver with access to your own vehicle to support in taking children with school runs and extra-curricular activities (milage paid)
