Role Requirements
1. Experience: 1-7 years PQE with a proven track record in acting for housebuilders, promoters, developers, landowners, housing associations, and local authorities.
2. Client Relationships: Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships, with contacts among leading residential development land agents.
3. Technical Competence: Proficiency in handling routine transactions such as conditional and unconditional contracts, options, affordable housing transactions, and infrastructure agreements.
4. Complex Transactions: Some experience with strategic land agreements, collaboration agreements, mixed-use schemes, and institutional investments.
5. Knowledge: Good understanding of VAT, SDLT issues, and affordable housing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality client service and care.
2. Manage financial aspects including time recording, billing, and achieving firm targets.
3. Actively contribute to business development to retain and expand the client base.
4. Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and continuously develop interpersonal skills.
5. Ensure compliance with SRA competence standards.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Relevant experience and appropriate PQE for the role.
2. Strong commercial acumen and industry understanding.
3. Proven financial management and case management skills.
4. Proficiency with case management systems, electronic time recording, and Microsoft packages.
