Can you follow instructions, but also think for yourself, and sometimes out of the box? Are you kind, caring and passionate about people? Does this underpin everything you do? Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard enriching the lives of people we support, with different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do. Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. . Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
This service is located in a quiet area at the end of a pretty road. There is a driveway where staff can park as well as road side free parking. There is a good sized garden, where the people we support enjoy sitting in the sun. They like to spend time together at home, some days are spent out shopping, whilst other days are spent going for a drive. The house is well situated in an area with lots of beaches, and there are some lovely parks nearby. These are great for nice walks and picnics. The town centre is a few miles along the road which has cinemas and shops which are visited regularly too.
As a support worker, you will get to have fun while you work, and build longstanding relationships with the people we support and staff teams alike!
Your values: Being happy, friendly and enjoying interactions with the people we support is the key to this exciting opportunity.
