About the IT Department:
Our IT department is dedicated to providing exceptional support to ensure a seamless technological experience for our entire school community. As part of our team, you will work closely with the Regional IT Manager and schools-based IT staff to deliver day-to-day IT support, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently. We pride ourselves on being ambassadors for the school and the principal, representing our institution with professionalism and integrity in all matters.
About You:
As an IT Technician at Abbeyfield School, you will bring your expertise and enthusiasm to support our technological infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and innovative learning environment for all. Our ideal candidate would:
· Have excellent customer service skills, and proven ability to achieve high standards of end user satisfaction.
· Have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
· Hold the ability to prioritise tasks, trouble shoot and problem-solve under pressure.
Requirements:
To apply for the IT Technician opportunity, you must hold:
· GCSE’s (including mathematics and English) or equivalent.
· Recent and relevant experience of working in the IT sector.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Anti-Virus, Web Filtering Systems, office software and other desktop products.
