Due to continued sustainable growth, we are looking for an Installation Engineer to join our team. The business is based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, however we work across the UK meaning working away from home would be “the norm”. The role would suit an individual who has a proven work history finding success and being rewarded for working away from home, on a regular basis.

This is a field-based role reporting to the Senior Site Installations Manager.
The Installation Engineer will ensure operational continuity and smooth execution of all fire compliant installation work, including refuse & linen chute removal and replacement projects, building works, plaster boarding, site works, scaffolding making sure Health & Safety practices are followed. You will assist with callouts, with on-site fault finding and on-site repairs, and be flexible to other duties outside of these, as and when needed.

Main responsibilities:
• To provide installation support to the Site Manager and work on many projects across various contracts and disciplines.
• This is role will develop and you will be fault finding, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of all site’s electrical equipment, Fire Closure Plates, Bi and Tri waste separation, locking hoppers. Access control systems, mag-lock operation.
• Maintenance, repairs, installations and testing.
• Carry out site visits and ensure RAMS are fully followed for all required works.
• Carry out effective communications with the Site Manager and colleagues to cover site issues and requests.
• Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies for Multiple Occupancy Buildings.
• Work closely with other Installation engineers and provide support and training to those teams.
• Installations: Safely and efficiently install new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures as required, adhering to industry best practices and NHS guidelines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all Installation work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Fire compliance work including testing inspecting equipment installed by the Company under warranty, reporting back findings, faults, rectification.
