Pay: £44500 Plus bonus

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Sunday to Wednesday 10pm – 6am and Thursday 10pm – 5am

The client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. Overview of Maintenance Engineer Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings, and building systems. This includes:
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance work performed.
Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems.
Welding experience is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
