My Aylesbury based client is looking for a new Account Manager to join their growing team. In this hybrid role, you will be required to manage a portfolio of clients, co-ordinating staffing for each client, ensuring an uninterrupted service, with an emphasis on quality and continuity. This is a pressurised but rewarding service-based role that entails recruitment, sales and account management. The ideal Account Manager will have excellent communication skills, be a hands-on team player, be able to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure and to deadlines, be detailed and organised and have the ability to manage expectations. Candidates who have worked within either recruitment or sales roles previously would be of interest to my client however this is not essential for the role. This role requires client site visits, so a driving licence and own car is required. Responsibilities relating to clients in the portfolio: Act as one of a number of points of contact for management and staff associated with every facility in the portfolio. Reporting any changes/updates as required to the Portfolio Executive. Maintain and edit the consolidated spreadsheet ('The Roster’) to ensure that it accurately reflects past, present and future staffing with the client. In conjunction with the wider team, ensure full participation in the client visit programme as directed by the PE with a view to meeting / exceeding KPIs Undertake a routine, on site client visits with a view to understanding and updating the profile requirements, establishing rapport with management and discussing issues specific to the delivery of services at that location. Also attend meetings at the request of clients to address specific issues, usually in conjunction with the Senior Management Team Consult with clients as to the induction of new staff who have not worked for the client before, either on a long-term or ad hoc basis. This includes the management of the shadowing programme, ensuring that this is undertaken to the benefit of all concerned. Inform clients well in advance of any changes to the planned staffing schedule, including cover arrangements for holiday or any other absence. In conjunction with the Portfolio Executive and Senior Management Team, manage complaints that arise within the portfolio to ensure the best outcomes for the Company, client and staff member. Ensure all relevant information is recorded on the Company database. Responsibilities relating to staff in the portfolio: Act as one of a number of points of contact for the staff in the portfolio, and manage them in line with the terms and conditions of their employment contract with us. Escalate any concerns as required to the Portfolio Executive for support and advice. Introduce groups of new staff members to the policies and protocols of the company during a short presentation. Assign new and existing staff in respect of their responsibilities under our Standby Programme. Manage contract tenures to the benefit of the Company and ensuring contract extensions are encouraged and completed in a timely fashion. Address complaints and grievances in conjunction with the Operations Director and/or the Director. Responsibilities relating to the Enrolment process: Liaise, co-ordinate and communicate with the Resourcing Team (including external agents) by telephone and email. Complete suitability Interviews over the telephone as required by the needs of the business. Co-ordinate and communicate with the esourcing Teams in relation to the arrangements for new staff members that are to be working at locations within the portfolio. Other general responsibilities: Fully participate in the out-of-hours on call system, dealing with and resolving any emergencies that arise. Escalate to senior team on call for support or approvals out of hours. Assist Team Portfolio Executive in completion of monthly report for Operations Director. Promote us during client visits and look for marketing opportunities. Undertaking any specific projects within required deadlines as may be requested by the Senior Management team from time to time. Represent and uphold our corporate values. Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday on call hours (per each on call stint you will have 1 day off shortly after). Hybrid working available after training and probation periods are complete. Holiday allowance 28 days bank holidays Salary £28-30K depending on experience.
