We are currently looking to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator who ideally has previous experience within an office environment or customer facing position. Where will you be based? This role is based in our Darlington office, but there may be a requirement for you to travel to other offices to cover from time to time. How many hours will you be working? This is a full time role which is 35 hours per week, working 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break. However part time working will be considered on a job share basis. A brief overview of the role: At EMG our clients mean everything to us, being the first face that welcomes them through the door is a major aspect within the role, notifying the fee earners/secretaries of their appointments arrival, answering the telephone system and supporting other departments with their administration tasks are all other important aspects of the role. About the Role What we will expect from you: Greeting and welcoming visitors, notifying fee earners/secretaries of appointment arrival. You will be responsible for managing the switchboard and reception. You will support other departments with administration tasks and support the Workplace Manager. Scanning posts onto case plans, ensuring systematic naming of scanned documents to make them easily searchable (naming systems are to be agreed with the relevant team fee-earners). Maintaining tidiness and presentation of the reception area, meeting rooms and toilets at all times, ensuring reception is fully equipped with refreshments for visitors. Distribute the post. Ensure the reception area always has fresh flowers. Franking post daily and taking it to the appropriate mailbox. Assist with the administration of office banking, including; Issuing petty cash Logging incoming cheques Maintaining internal registers. Organise lunches for client meetings and business lunches. To support and assist all teams as far as possible. Ordering of stationary and office supplies. To be able to perform this job you will need: A full UK driving license. To undertake duties professionally, with utmost skill and care. To always put clients first. To be able to work individually and as part of a team. Ensuring the firms procedures are adhered too and always followed. To be well motivated and demonstrate initiative. GCSE's or equivalent qualifications. Customer Service Experience.
