We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our successful team that is reflective and creative in practice. Working collaboratively within our service and alongside the wider Compass community, you will strive to ensure that the children and young people in our schools reach their full potential.
You will work from our independent school; however, you will remotely support several schools in your region.
Part time and/or term time only will be considered.
We are looking for a committed member of the team who would like to work within a children’s service offering education services to children and young people.
You will:
* Support the organisation in ensuring that the service is run in line with the Government Legislation, Ofsted regulations and our internal Quality Assurance Standards.
* Represent Compass Education’s Vision and Ethos, whilst developing and providing a comprehensive and flexible administration service.
* Have a willingness to understand and uphold education regulations, policies and procedures and safeguarding procedures.
* Be a strong team player and be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attend meetings as required and ensure accurate minutes/notes are produced.
* Be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel and have a willingness to learn the use of our in-house databases such as MIS systems and safeguarding software.
* Have an ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload whilst remaining calm and professional in a busy environment.
* Support with daily welfare checks.
* Undertake administrative tasks and reception duties.
Previous administrative experience is essential for this role.
