Senior RME Technician
• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.
• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible.
• Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardise processes across the EU network.
• Monitor processes to guarantee regulations and policies are followed and ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.
• Suggest improvements to make our systems more efficient and productive and then implement those improvements across an EU-wide function.
• Work closely with your line manager to assist with admin tasks and use tools like Scada to monitor performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
• Relevant experience in a technical leadership role, electrical and mechanical disciplines, automation or material handling equipment environments.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.
• Lead a team to ensure everyone has the equipment they need and that it’s running properly.
• Develop and implement improvements to make our systems more efficient and productive.
• Work in a shift pattern, including weekends and nights, at one of our operational sites.
• Progress into more senior roles as you develop your experience within this exciting part of Amazon.
