About you
* Proficient in working with large datasets, employing strong problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights.
* Experienced with data visualization tools like Looker and Power BI, translating complex data into clear, actionable visuals.
* Skilled in influencing and presenting findings to stakeholders, adept at engaging audiences through compelling storytelling.
* Expertise in web analytics and user behaviour analysis across multiple customer touchpoints, managing high-volume data from diverse sources.
* Capable of gathering and interpreting market and customer insights to drive product strategy, proposition development, and successful go-to-market strategies.
What will you be doing?
1. Research and Insight Management
o Develop and lead research programmes, including surveys, focus groups, and competitor analysis, to understand market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
o Manage the synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights to inform business strategies.
1. Consumer Data and Analytics
o Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of consumer data to identify trends, behaviours, and key customer segments.
o Collaborate with teams across the business to develop consumer personas and journey maps that optimise engagement.
1. Data-Driven Decision Making
o Implement British Cycling’s data strategy to ensure the effective use of insights.
o Deliver regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
1. Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as a trusted advisor, presenting research findings and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
o Partner with teams across the business to identify key metrics and ensure alignment with business needs and our balance scorecard.
1. Market and Trend Analysis
o Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations.
o Translate external and internal data into opportunities for innovation and growth.
1. Team Leadership
o Lead a team of analysts and researchers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and curiosity.
o Ensure team members are equipped with the latest tools, skills, and methodologies.
1. Compliance and Governance
o Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, research ethics, and governance frameworks, including GDPR.
1. Technology and Tools Management
o Oversee the implementation and optimisation of tools and technologies for research and analytics, such as Looker, Power BI, or survey platforms
