ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Year 6 teacher with plenty of experience working with the KS2 curriculum to cover a long-term position in the Walsall area to commence from January 2025.
The role
This role includes the following:
Teaching in a full class teacher role, including some planning (maths and English is covered), delivering, and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
Starting after the Christmas break and covering until the end of the Summer term.

This is based at a one form entry school in the Walsall area, recent good rating from Ofsted and a welcoming team of permanent staff members.
Requirements
To be considered for the Year 6 Teacher position, you will:
Have prior experience in a full class teacher role, showing confidence in teaching Year 5 or a similar year group within the KS2 curriculum.
Be prepared to commit to a full-time role, with responsibilities including planning, assessments, and engaging with parents.
Hold a relevant QTS for teaching in a primary school setting (this is essential for applicants).
Have, or be able to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
Provide relevant references from the last 2 years.
