Contract Length: 12-month maternity cover fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent in future

Overview of Role: Ensure the TDM Totara/Mahara/virtual learning environment (VLE) is fully implemented and utilised to help learners and employers have an excellent learning journey.

Core Responsibilities (Right Seat):
1. Enable TDM staff to effectively manage and track TDM learner progress through the TDM VLE. Run the TDM Staff VLE.
2. Work with colleagues to ensure the VLE development planner is on track and followed.
3. Maintain data integrity on learner progress and submit monthly data reports on learner progress to TDM directors.
4. In collaboration with subject matter experts, design, develop, launch and maintain TDM Apprenticeship programmes and other TDM courses on TDM’s VLE as needed, including (but not limited to) the following Apprenticeship programmes and Skills Bootcamps:
* Digital Technology Solutions Professional Level 6 (Integrated Degree)
* Digital Marketer Level 6 (Integrated Degree)
* Network Engineer Level 4
* Multichannel Marketer Level 3
* Content Creator Level 3
* Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 (Risk Analyst only)
* Data Analyst Level 4
* Intelligence Analyst Level 4
* IT Technical Salesperson Level 3
* Tech/Cyber Skills Bootcamp
* Developer Skills Bootcamp
* Data/AI Skills Bootcamp
* Digital/Marketing Skills Bootcamp
1. Also support TDM HR to design, develop, launch and maintain TDM Staff Development programmes on the Staff VLE.
2. Support other employer organisations looking for an overall talent experience solution, accessing Government funding for training solutions (Apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps).
3. Support organisations looking for commercial solutions to corporate knowledge capture, performance management, workforce engagement and formal learning development via a bespoke-branded Virtual Learning Environment platform with bespoke content. Supporting with the:
* System configuration and management
* Training and consultancy
* E-learning content design & development
* Continuous development and improvement of branded virtual learning environments
4. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
5. Compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials.
Ideal Candidate:
Required:
* As this is a learning developer, not learning creator role, we are looking for an individual who can interpret and analyse learning material, solve problems and who can work with a variety of people.
* Must have strong project management, English (reading and writing), attention to detail and organisation skills.
* Must align with our curriculum intent and strategy: Genuinely work based learning underpinned by academic rigour.
* Is educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Has a passion for developing local and regional skills.
* Is able to deliver against TDM values and communicate with individuals from various backgrounds and in a variety of different roles.
Preferred:
* Experience fostering relationships with employers and learners.
* Has experience of successfully designing learning programmes.
* Has experience utilising a virtual learning environment.
* Has a background in the apprenticeship or further education sector.
