They are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Sales and Quotations Manager to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. The Customer Sales and Quotations Manager is a pivotal role that combines customer account management, quotations management, and sales development (following-up on enquiries) focusing on nurturing warm leads and existing customer relationships. The successful candidate will proactively maintain accurate records in the CRM system, provide exceptional customer support and generate sales opportunities from quotation requests. Working collaboratively with internal teams, this role also involves contributing to order processing, marketing, and occasional administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Customer Account & Sales Quotations Management: Build strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication. Act as the first point of contact for queries and manage customer feedback efficiently. Seek opportunities to strengthen relationships and enhance customer loyalty. Respond to customer quotation requests promptly and follow up to encourage conversions. Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, tracking quotation statuses and providing regular reports. Develop a deeper understanding of customer accounts to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling. Proactive Sales Generation from Customer Enquiries: Engage with existing customers to encourage repeat orders. Follow up with new customers after their first order and re-engage dormant accounts. Monitor customer purchasing patterns and address changes proactively. CRM, Marketing & Administration Support: Ensure accurate CRM data entry and explore customer segmentation opportunities. Support marketing activities by researching industry trends and drafting customer-focused social media content. Cover for the Order Processing and Admin Manager during leave periods. Process purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, and liaise with suppliers. Assist with customer communications, audits, and general office duties. Candidate Profile: Essential Skills & Experience: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport over phone and email. Proven experience in a front-line customer support role. Proactive approach to sales support, with the ability to generate and follow up on leads. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Competency in calculating costs and handling quotations. Positive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic workload. Advantageous Skills: Experience with Sage Accounts or CRM systems. Familiarity with the packaging or manufacturing industry. Additional Information: This is a predominantly reactive role, focused on managing warm leads and customer-generated enquiries. A comprehensive handover period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.
