Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist – Community Podiatrist - Sutton Position: Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist – Community Podiatrist Banding: 6/7 Location: Sutton Hours: Part-Time (2 days per week) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £24.00 – £34.00 P/H Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist to join our community-based team in Sutton. The successful candidate will be required to conduct home visits, perform detailed assessments, and manage both routine and complex cases. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential for this position. What will you be doing in this Podiatry role? As a Community Podiatrist, you will deliver expert podiatric care including the management of high-risk feet, wound care, and foot ulcers. Your role will involve conducting home visits, performing thorough assessments, and providing both routine and specialised care. You will need to manage a caseload effectively, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in their homes. Flexibility to work two days per week for domiciliary visits is essential. Requirements: Must have the right to work in the UK HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Proven experience in wound care and high-risk foot management Ability to perform home visits and provide care in a community setting Valid UK driving licence and access to a car Experience in conducting assessments and managing foot ulcers Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why work with Pulse?
