Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in installations and operations support? We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team, supporting the Operations Manager and Directors in keeping things running smoothly while driving efficiency across the business.
This role is hands-on, ensuring that production and installations are completed on time, to a high standard, and with a strong customer focus. It also involves elements of logistics planning, quality control, and health & safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:
✅ Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies on-site and in the workplace
✅ Conducting quality checks, inspections, and equipment audits
✅ Planning logistics for on-site installations and arranging work permits
✅ Carrying out site visits for inspections, surveys, and support
✅ Managing documentation for quality and health & safety systems
✅ Liaising with customers, suppliers, and local councils
✅ Providing administrative support, including issuing purchase orders and responding to queries
✅ Supporting accreditation renewals and assisting with tenders
✅ Assisting with marketing efforts, exhibitions, and promotional events
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and numerical skills with great attention to detail
✔ IT Competency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
✔ Health & Safety Knowledge: Experience with safety regulations for streetworks and roadworks
✔ Driving: Must hold a full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications:
📌 NRSWA Supervisor Certification
📌 Health & Safety Qualification
📌 GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
