Sales and Service Manager
Salary of £34k-£38k with an OTE of £44,000, pension, private medical insurance, 29 days holidays including bank holidays and your birthday off paid.
Objective:
Are you a passionate motorsport or automotive tuning enthusiast with a talent for sales leadership both in a sales office and eCommerce environment? If so, we’re looking for a Sales and Service Manager who understands the thrill of performance tuning and the precision of aftermarket upgrades.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes performance vehicles, thrives in a consultative sales environment, and has a knack for leading a high-performing team in an eCommerce-driven business. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by managing sales pipelines, customer relationships, and order fulfilment while leveraging ZOHO CRM and WooCommerce to optimise the digital sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Loading and Job Scheduling
* Manage Customer Workshop Bookings:
* Oversee scheduling to optimise workshop efficiency.
* Supervise and support technicians to ensure timely and effective job performance.
* Handle purchase orders, place orders, and manage order fulfilment for MOTO sales.
Customer Service
* Ensure customer bookings and vehicles are managed effectively, focusing on parts availability for service and installation.
* Support the Sales team and business with automotive experience and knowledge.
* Engage in face-to-face customer contact, vendor liaison, as well as telephone, email, and online chat services.
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers, keeping them informed of updates and changes.
* Provide assistance to the sales team.
* Help the team in qualifying and managing leads.
* Track the progress of deals and facilitate negotiations with clients.
* Monitor dashboards of ZOHO CRM and ZOHO Books, and take action based on the data presented, key performance indicators, and customer service requirements.
Technical Service Management
* Responsible for end-to-end service delivery of all vehicles and customer bookings through the VIEZU Workshop.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct price negotiations within authorisation limits for additional work and manage customer complaints to ensure 100% satisfaction.
Administrative Duties
* Raise invoices and purchase orders, process payments using business systems.
* Attend shows and marketing events in a sales support capacity.
* Follow up with customers to obtain feedback and encourage positive social media reviews.
* Perform goods inwards quality checks in advance of dispatching/customer arrival.
Working Relationships and Key Result Areas
* Oversee Retail Sales and Workshop Activity Dashboards.
* Maintain Service Level Agreements, and report on successes or areas for improvement.
* Assist the Retail Sales/Workshop Service Department in achieving performance targets.
* Ensure service delivery to customers and effective vendor management.
* Arrange on-site work via the workshop with customers.
* Maintain communication for effective time management control of vehicle conversion projects.
* Guarantee customer satisfaction and encourage the collection of positive reviews.
* Participate in marketing debrief meetings to gain insights into discounts, sales, and other specialised offers that are focused on enhancing customer service.
Key Tasks
* Support and where needed assist with meet and greet when customers are present.
* Ensure that the Sales and Service Team provides proper hospitality.
* Work together with the Service and Workshop teams to create an exceptional customer service experience.
* Update the Relationship Management Database regularly.
* Communicate with the workshop to monitor job progress.
* Offer after-sales customer support and perform quick, precise cost calculations.
* Negotiate with customers.
* Document any additional work requested by customers.
* Verify parts availability on-site to meet customer needs.
Core Skills

* Strong PC literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Experience with ZOHO accountancy software and CRM Database.
* Strong telephone handling skills and sales/customer care experience.
* Capable manager with people management experience.
Experience:
* Automotive sales and service management: 5 years (required).
