Burman are supporting a public sector client appoint a permanent HR Advisor. You will provide essential HR services and support to ensure the effective management of the workforce. Your role will encompass a broad range of HR functions, including:
1. Recruitment
2. Employee Relations
3. Performance Management
4. Policy Development
5. Compliance
You will collaborate with managers and employees to foster a positive, productive, and legally compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution. Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports to resolve workplace disputes.
2. Performance Management: Support managers in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance on setting objectives, conducting reviews, and addressing performance issues. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee performance and engagement.
3. Policy Development and Compliance: Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
4. HR Administration and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
