Important Details: Hours: Full Time, term time only (Mon-Fri) Pay Rate: To scale Location: Birmingham, B36 Start Date: After Easter Our ideal applicant will: - have a UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification - have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school - be confident with planning and marking a range of science lessons - be able to differentiate lessons to suit individual needs within the class - have previous experience working with children with special educational needs - have an excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum guidelines for Science You will be responsible for: - planning and delivering engaging science lessons to a range of year groups and abilities - regularly assessing pupil progress and providing them with timely and informative feedback - collaborating with colleagues within the science department - safeguarding all pupils and staff at all times, ensuring health, safety and welfare of everyone within the school is a priority Teachers within the school currently have explained how it is a "supportive and exciting place to work which pushes them to be the best they can possibly be."
