We require an experienced Team Leader in the South West for a Monday to Friday days role, capable of coordinating the maintenance activities of a team of experienced maintenance technicians while hitting pre-set maintenance targets on a permanent basis.
The Opportunity
Ford & Stanley Talentwise are working with the UK's leading independent maintainer and overhauler of rolling stock vehicles, operating out of numerous strategically placed maintenance depots across the country. Our client offers comprehensive services to Train and Freight Operating Companies, Rolling Stock Leasing Companies (ROSCOs), and Rail Vehicle & Maintenance Suppliers for modern electric and diesel trains throughout the UK, with around-the-clock, 365-day-a-year operation.
The successful candidate will directly manage all activity within a bustling maintenance team carrying out heavy mechanical maintenance and overhaul activities on a variety of rolling stock vehicles.

3. Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be working in a maintenance function within a rail environment. They must be able to lead maintenance activities across a busy depot, solve maintenance-related issues, organize themselves and others, and be comfortable making decisions that will affect maintenance capabilities.
Essentials
1. NVQ 3 Qualified in an engineering discipline
2. Management experience within an engineering environment
3. Team Leader Experience
4. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
