Finance Manager
You will be joining one of the UK's leading game developers as their Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Supported by a part-time CFO, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional processing and ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's financial processes. You will primarily be fully remote but there will be ad-hoc travel to their West Midlands office for team meetings and events.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, leading the budgeting/forecasting/scenario modelling workstreams, managing the day-to-day transactional processing including AP, AR, expenses, bank accounts, and payroll. You will refine existing financial policies and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose, implement efficient ways of working to ensure time spent on business as usual activities is minimized, and collaborate with management to provide financial insights.
Role Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and ideally be part-qualified/finalist or qualified by experience. You will have a strong knowledge of month-end processes, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit and high-performing team, possess outstanding communication skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You will have experience using finance software such as Xero and be confident with the use of Excel to an intermediate level.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
