As a Plastic Shipper Repair Operative, your primary responsibility will be to inspect, repair, and maintain plastic pallets used in various industries. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of pallets by conducting repairs, replacements, and modifications as necessary. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and commitment to quality will contribute to the smooth flow of logistics and supply chain operations.
Shifts: 6am-2pm (£11.44 per hour) and 2pm-10pm (£12.04 per hour) rotating
Increasing after 12 weeks to 6am-2pm (£11.90 per hour) and 2pm-10pm (£12.58 per hour)

Responsibilities:
1. Inspection and Assessment: Carefully inspect plastic shippers to identify damage, defects, or any areas in need of repair. Assess the extent of the damage and determine appropriate repair procedures.
2. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs on plastic pallets, such as replacing broken boards, repairing cracks, reinforcing weak areas, and ensuring structural integrity. Use appropriate tools and techniques to complete repairs effectively.
3. Equipment Operation: Operate various tools and equipment.
4. Quality Control: Adhere to quality control standards and procedures to ensure repaired pallets meet the required specifications and safety standards. Conduct quality checks on completed repairs to ensure they meet or exceed expectations.
5. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to pallet repair and workplace safety.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance repair efficiency and the overall longevity of plastic pallets.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in pallet repair
