We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist customers on the shop floor, perform various tasks, including till work and stock management. If you have a passion for equestrian sports, luxury country fashion, and delivering excellent customer service, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, helping them find the perfect products for their needs.
2. Till Work: Operate a till system, process transactions efficiently and cash handling
3. Shop Floor Support: Maintain a neat, organized, and attractive store layout. Ensure that displays are well-stocked, tidy, and visually appealing.
4. Stock Replenishment: Assist with stock replenishment, receiving deliveries, and organizing the back stock.
5. Merchandising: Help with store displays, seasonal promotions, and visual merchandising to create a welcoming shopping environment.
6. Team Support: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
7. A genuine interest in equestrian sports, luxury country clothing, or country living is highly preferred.
8. Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial but relevant training will be provided.
9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
10. Ability to multitask and handle different responsibilities, including till work and shop floor duties, in a fast-paced environment.
11. Reliable, punctual, and flexible, required to work 1 weekend day and bank holidays.
12. Attention to detail, especially when it comes to merchandising.
13. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others.
